Coach Facey has myriad football accomplishments under his belt and we’re fortunate he’s brought his talent and exceptional player mentoring skills to ELA FC. Coach Facey thrived as a centre-back for Lancaster West and during his tenor saw them rise to the PL of thee Hackney League. Coach Facey then went on to create, develop and direct the girls and boys football program at the West London Free School. He had many successes at the WLFS including multiple league finals at Loftus Rd, coaching the undefeated U13 Girls finals of the London Cup and U15 Girls Finals. Coach Facey’s to effort to develop and nurture this program have paid off in creating a brilliant football program that ELA now recruits from along with having many former players make it to the London Youth Games.
Coach Facey is currently a PE teacher at an Alternative Provision School where he uses PE to engage with extremely vulnerable teens. As well as teaching them fundamental life skills like teamwork, resilience, perseverance and leadership. In addition to teaching he also manages a local 5-aside team and does one to one coaching with aspiring football players. Coach Facey always shows up with a smile on his face, excels at giving positive constructive advice and is always supporting our players to raise the bar. The passion that Coach Facey bring to ELA cannot be undersold!
